My Dream DVC Vacations (and how many points it will take)
I think I’m like most DVC members that enjoy planning vacations. I like comparing point charts with times of year to travel and trying to figure out what size villa we can get. I have my basic plan
- Bay Lake Tower 3 Bedroom Theme Park View on Christmas – Waking up Christmas morning with a Christmas Tree in that living room overlooking Magic Kingdom with your family. I can’t think of a better way to spend Christmas morning. You can still feel the magic while looking at Magic Kingdom without having to deal with the crowds. 943 points for December 22, 2019 – December 28, 2019
- Hilton Head 3 Bedroom on Thanksgiving – Hilton Head rooms always make me want to cook. The vibe of the resort and rooms are very homey. Having thanksgiving dinner with a fire roaring in the fireplace sounds like perfection. 295 points for November 24, 2019 – November 30, 2019
- Staying at every DVC resort – Every DVC member has their favorite resort but I think every DVC member also wants to stay at every DVC resort. Its fun to compare the resorts. You may discover a new favorite. One of the best parts of being a DVC member is the ability to stay at all the different resorts. (I’m currently at 10 out of 14 current DVC resorts)
- Aulani – Staying in paradise with the DVC amenities and Disney service sounds like heaven. This resort in pictures and videos looks incredible. 276 points for January 19, 2020 – January 25, 2020 Ocean View 1 Bedroom
- Polynesian Bungalow on 4th of July – Staying in this incredible accommodation on one of those long summer nights watching the fireworks on your own private deck with Ohana Room service, enough said. 1014 points for June 29, 2020 – July 5, 2020
With my 260 yearly points, some of my dream DVC vacations are possible. But my Add-On-Itis is in full effect right now while thinking about these vacations. If you need me, I’ll be stalking the DVC Store looking for resale contracts at Bay Lake, Hilton Head, and/or Polynesian with December Use Year.
