Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village Rooms

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village features a variety of accommodations: Deluxe Studios, One-Bedroom Villas, Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villas, Two-Bedroom Lock-Off Villas and Three-Bedroom Grand Villas. All room categories at Kidani Village can be booked as either standard view overlooking the resorts parking area and pool, or as savanna view.

Deluxe Studio

Deluxe Studios at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village can accommodate up to four adults. Each studio features a queen-size bed and double-size sleeper sofa. The room also includes a full bathroom, small kitchenette, and a private porch or balcony.

One-Bedroom Villas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village sleep up to five adults. These villas also feature a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. Additional amenities are a private porch or balcony, and a washing machine and dryer.

These rooms also feature a full kitchen, three bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and a private porch or balcony.

The Two-Bedroom Lock-Off Villa category is comprised of a Deluxe Studio and a One-Bedroom Villa. These villas also feature three bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a private porch or balcony.

Three-Bedroom Grand Villa

Three-Bedroom Grand Villas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village are available for families looking for a truly relaxing safari. Grand Villas can sleep up to twelve adults and include a king-size bed in the master bedroom, two queen-size beds in each of the two additional bedrooms, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. These villas also have a full kitchen, four bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and a private porch or balcony.

Annual Dues

2024 Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas Annual Dues: $9.08 per point

Annual Dues or “maintenance fees” are paid yearly by Disney Vacation Club Members. These costs vary by resort and help cover real estate taxes, operating expenses, and administrative expenses for each resort.

Quick-Service:

The Mara: The Mara, located in Jambo House, blends traditional quick service fare with African-inspired dishes. Dine on American favorites like burgers and chicken, or discover new flavors with the falafel platter or African Potjie. Open for breakfast at 7:00 am and for late-night dining until 1:30 am, The Mara is an excellent place to satisfy your hunger any time of day.


Casual Dining:

Sanna: Located in Kidani Village, Sanna blends African cooking and Indian flavors against the backdrop of exotic animals roaming the Sunset Savanna. Be sure to check out the Indian Bread Service, a favorite among lodge guests.

Boma-Flavors of Africa: Themed to a lively African marketplace, this all-you-can-eat buffet for breakfast and dinner offers African flavors and American favorites to please any palette. Boma is located inside Jambo House.


Fine/Signature Dining:

Jiko-The Cooking Place: Transport yourself with a tasty blend of African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine featuring bold flavors and vibrant spices. This signature dining experience, located inside Jambo House, is a favorite among many Disney Vacation Club members.

In-room dining options are also available to guests 24-hours daily. Menus within your DVC Villa will showcase the wide variety of American favorites and specialty items available at your resort.


Lounges:

Sanna Lounge: Located adjacent to Sanna, this lounge features favorites, such as the Indian bread service, and an array of cocktails and other drinks.

Victoria Falls Lounge: This intimate bar is a great place to grab a specialty cocktail or African wine while you wait for your dinner at Boma or Jiko. The lounge also offers a variety of bites such as burgers, flatbreads, wings, and appetizers.

Uzima Springs Pool Bar: From smoothies, beer, wines, salads, sandwiches, and more, the Uzima Springs Pool Bar is a poolside oasis to treat yourself while soaking in the sun. Find this pool bar at the Uzima Pool located at Jambo House.

Maji Pool Bar: Chose from a variety of sandwiches, salads, snacks, and drinks at this Kidani Village pool bar. Located in a secluded area a few steps from the Samawati Springs Pool, this location offers bar seating and alfresco dining at outdoor tables.


Shopping

Johari Treasures located in Kidani Village is a small convenience store selling a selection of drinks, snacks, sundries, African crafts, and souvenirs.

The Zawadi Marketplace at Jambo House offers a wide range of products including snacks and sundries, African artwork, African inspired clothing, Disney gifts, and apparel.

Savannas

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas is best known for its four savannas, which are teeming with African plants and animals. At Jambo House, you will find the Uzima Savanna, Arusha Savanna, and Sunset Savanna. At Kidani Village, you’ll find the Sunset Savanna and Pembe Savanna. Each savanna has a unique blend of animals where you can find anything from giraffes, zebras, ostrich, pelicans, gazelles, wildebeest, and more.


Pools and Amenities

Samawati Springs Pool at Kidani Village has a lot to offer, especially for those with younger guests. With a water slide, two whirlpool spas, and a water playground, this immersive pool is a great place to spend a rest day.

Members and guests can also relax at the Uzima Pool at Jambo House. This 11,000 square foot pool features a water slide, zero-entry point, two whirlpool spas, children’s wading pool, and is surrounded by a lush canopy of vegetation from Florida’s palms to banana trees.
