About the Disney Vacation Club
By becoming a member, you get the opportunity to own an interest in any Disney Vacation Club Resort with locations in Orlando, Florida, Vero Beach Florida, Hilton Head South Caroline, Anaheim California, and Oahu Hawaii with 14 different resorts.
The DVC program gives you a cost-effective way to do regular Disney vacations or use for over 2,000 other timeshare vacations around the world. By being a DVC Member you be close to the magic and will have memories with friends and family that will last a lifetime.
To become a member, all you need to do is buy real estate interest at any Disney Vacation Club Resort, this would then become your Home Resort.
This real estate interest is represented by Vacation Points, which are allotted annually. You can use your DVC Points at any Disney Vacation Club resort. Members can choose from multiple vacation destinations around the world as well with the RCI or World Collection.
Staying in your Home Resort allows you take advantage of the Home Resort Priority Period, wherein members are allowed to make reservations as early as 11 months before their trip. By contrast, members who don’t have ownership interest in that Home resort can only book up to 7 months in advance.
Memberships are currently available at any Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Resort via resale, so you can choose between 14 different resorts. If you purchase directly from Disney, they are only offering 2 locations.

How to become a member
When considering a purchase, you’ll need to figure out the right number of points to accommodate the number of people you plan to travel with and the time of year you plan on coming. It does not need to be an exact number, but in the ball park. This will help in determine the right number of points to purchase.
The prices for a Disney Vacation Club package will vary depending on which resort you purchase. Price per point starts around $60 and go all the way up to $200 per point (depending on location). Financing is available if necessary via resale with rates starting around 9%.
