Want to Write about DVC?

Write for DVCstore!

We want you to write for the DVCstore! We’re looking for everyone and anyone with something to say about Disney and DVC, and if we publish your article, you’ll make some money.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign up to become a DVCstore contributor and agree to our terms and conditions below after reading this page.
  2. Once you are registered, we’ll send you instructions on how to proceed. Articles can be on a wide range of topics from resorts and theme parks to dining and of course, Disney Vacation Club. From time to time, we’ll adjust the list of topics we’re accepting based on what we need for the site.
  3. If we use your article on the DVCstore, we’ll pay you $25.
  4. Payments are by check and will be mailed to the address you list on file. Checks are sent out at the end of the month.

What can I write about?

Write about what interests you. If you’re a fan of a particular resort, write about it and tell others why you love it so much. If you have something you need to get off your chest – write about it. Had a great meal at LeCellier – tell us about it. Received bad service at the San Angel Inn – we want to hear about that too. Have a top 5 list you want to share – here’s your chance. Be creative! Think about topics that would interest other Disney fans and those planning Disney vacations.

In addition, we want to allow open discussion for DVC members and potential members. Opinions are always great to have and we know everything can’t be perfect all the time, even with Disney. This should give potential new DVC members a genuine look at what being a DVC owner is all about.

Feel free to write about anything you would like as it pertains to Disney Vacation Club and any elements that you think are important.

DO

  • Represent your opinion. Write articles on topics you are passionate about.
  • Write articles that help other people who are DVC members or considering becoming DVC members. Take the things you’ve learned from your experience and share it!
  • Use good grammar and punctuation. Poorly written articles that are loaded with spelling and grammatical errors will be rejected.
  • Include links to relevant information that supports your article.
  • Include pictures or video with your articles. You must be the owner of the media you are including. If you want to include video with your article, you must use a YouTube account that you own and it must be video that you took. Read our guidelines on the use of pictures and video.

DON’T

  • Plagiarize someone else’s work. If you didn’t write it, don’t submit it. Any contributor found to submit work that is not their own will be dropped. You are liable for any claims made by third parties if you reproduce their work without permission.
  • You must also disclose if you have any direct financial relationship connected to the specific content you are writing. Which leads us to…
  • Advertise. If you have a product to sell, this is not the forum for it. Submitted content that includes links to sites or products that we, in our opinion, deem to be advertising or promotional in nature will be rejected.

Titles

Keep your title descriptive, but short and sweet.

This is the maximum length your blog title can be, so copy & paste this exact sentence for you to reference.
