Take a step back in time and head to Disney’s BoardWalk Villas Resort. This picturesque resort in Orlando, Florida is one of the most highly-rated Deluxe Resorts due to its Coney Island theme, great restaurants, exciting activities, and cozy ambiance.It is also within walking distance from the world-famous Epcot Theme Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

A quintessential Disney resort

Opened in the summer of 1996, the resort takes on a classic seaside-amusement park theme. Upon entering Disney’s Boardwalk Villas Resort, one passes through the lobby done in New England style – beams and arches with intricate lattice work supporting a high ceiling from which ornate chandeliers hang. Potted palms among the lounge sets provide a tropical touch.

As for the resort hotel, their units are composed of Deluxe Studios and 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom Grand Villas. Currently, the resort has 383 villas for the members of the Disney Vacation Club to book.These villas are still consistent with the resort’s overall New England architectural theme, with a turn of the century luxury beach ambiance, and plenty of natural lighting. Many of these villas also offer sweeping views of the garden and swimming pool, as well as over looking the Boardwalk itself.

Fun activities to keep you entertained

You’ll always find something worthwhile and fun to do in the Boardwalk Villas Resort. Take a dip in one of the resort’s two leisure pools found in the Rose Garden Courtyard beside the Community Hall. You can also swim in the resort’s carnival-themed pool called the Luna Park Pool which features the 200-foot-long Keiser Coaster water slide.
